Once upon a time, there was a legend that began in the heat of conflict and tragedy.Heroes and great leaders are recounted time and time again for history and spectacle. However, when the evil force is slain and the world is saved, other stories begin.This is one of those tales…. Our story begins with a powerful Necromancer that has seized the mighty citadel of Astraea. Many large pillars of marble that were covered in moss with decedent vistas and surrounded by the magical forest that shined azure against the eternal violet sky plummeted into darkness.This necromancer was pure evil, who wanted nothing but to pollute Astraea and was in search of two magical artifacts. One of them is a blade that could cut through time and a staff that could transcend realities beyond the realm of imagination.The necromancer tortured and scoured the people of Astraea until two heroes from faraway lands, who are the current wielders of the legendary artifacts, faced the necromancer, giving him a powerful blow and destroying him completely.The wielders of the temporal blade, the wise and noble wizard named Xavi and his companion, the elegant fae Druid named Eva, heir of the reality-bending staff, banished the necromancer from existence. Both wielders became champions of Astraea, and soon after, found new emotions growing between each other.Astraea’s peace and beauty were restored! Xavi and Eva have both relocated to a new home, hoping to build a new life together, until conflict drove a wedge between their newfound love for each other and that is growing a family.Xavi is a human who has magical powers however, Eva who is a Fae kin could never bear a child.
However, Xavi didn’t give up.He had nothing but time to find a way. If he couldn’t have a child with his beloved he vowed to create one through magic. He spent days- months - and years…but with no luck, he decided there was only one option. He must sacrifice his sacred power- the temporal blade. With a great surge of magic, he thought he found success but he only found a swirling brew of pure energy that could barely be contained in his onyx cauldron.After all his effort - countless years of practicing his magic and draining all the power from his great weapon only left him with sadness. Until he thought about a very dangerous plan, his final hope was to steal his beloved Eva’s powerful staff that could cross realms.As a last effort, he went behind his love with the hope that Eva would understand after his work could be realized and he could bring home what he thought they both truly desired.Eva, however- was not one to be discouraged by this void her love sought to fill. While she was left unaware of Xavi’s work she wandered to the woods and found another wayward soul to nurture.A lone orphaned Kitten of the fae wild… Eva found a glimmer in the eyes of the young creature that she wished to share with Xavi. Maybe just maybe this spark would ease the pain that raptured her companion’s heart.Maybe just maybe this spark would ease the pain that raptured her companion’s heart. She burst into his studies to surprise him with this gift as he was hard at work with his craft, but froze in horror of the display in front of her.Xavi was attempting to merge the power of reality with the caustic brew unknowingly tearing a rift in reality itself - she dropped the kitten and rushed to Xavi before he was ripped apart by the flux of energy.
They struggled with the staff as Xavi tried convincing Eva that he was close to finding the answer. As they fought with the staff as the brew began to radiate and spew waves of powerful magic, the kitten left to its own devices curiously crawled to the rim of the cauldron looking down at the waves of pulsating colors immentating from the fluids inside.Xavi finally relented with tears in his eyes as Eva pulled the staff back close to her chest- screaming at him for his impulsiveness. Xavi could only rebuttal through soft whimpers as Eva slowly realized what he was trying to achieve.The two embraced in sorrow as Eva explained that her heart only yearned for a future with him.
Unbeknownst to the heroes at that moment the kitten had fallen into the cauldron- Eva jumped forward reaching into the pot to save the poor creature yet instead of a small wet paw she found a young child’s hand grasping her arm and emerging from the hue.The heroes stood before a child….
Hair that glowed with the color of the Astreas sky and eyes that glimmered with the same spark that filled that void in Xavis's heart. Eva brought home the cure to her lover’s broken spirit and Xavi had made Eva a child they could both raise in the heart of their new home.The heroes stood before a child….
